This Privacy Policy was last updated on 27th November 2017 and such Privacy Policy supersedes the previous terms posted herein.

The Information we collect and process includes but may not limit to the following:

  • Contact information - address, home, phone number, mobile phone number, email address
  • Travel information & preferences - passport details, favourite destinations

We may link together your Information with other data that we have collected about you from any other sources (to the extent permitted in terms of this Privacy Policy).

We use your Information to:

  • fulfil our obligations as program operator and render the benefits and services to you in full
  • administer your account
  • provide member support and resolve your inquiries
  • provide services tailored to your personal preferences and interests/li>
  • provide you with relevant marketing communications and offers, subject to the permission you give us*
  • process your transactions in a timely and secure manner

*You may choose not to receive marketing communications at any time, by following the “Manage Subscription” process contained in the communication itself, or update your preferences settings after logging on to our website.

We may disclose your Information to our suppliers and third parties contracted to fulfil our obligations to you on our behalf as program operator or for relevant marketing offers and services.

We may also disclose your Information to our lawyers or legal advisors for the purpose of establishing, exercising or defending our legal rights, in response to government authorities, agencies or other third parties to the extent permitted or required by applicable law, or in response to subpoenas, court orders or legal processes.

We implement organizational and technical measures to protect your personal information. This includes putting user access controls mechanisms in place, training our employees in handling your personal information, and signing data processing and/or sharing agreements with third parties.

We use SSL (Secure Socket Layer – the standard security technology for establishing encrypted link between a web server and a browser, adapted from http://info.ssl.com/article.aspx?id=10241) protocol to protect in transmission the Information we collect online from you.

Our employees are made aware of internal information security policy, privacy policy and data breach response process and trained to respond to any breach of security swiftly and effectively.

We use cookies, which are small pieces of data stored on the web browser on your computer, to help us improve your user experience of our website, and track your use of a partner’s website in order to fulfil our obligations as program operator.

You can enable or disable cookies by modifying the settings in your browser. However, you may not be able to receive certain benefits and services if cookies have been disabled completely.

All Information that has been collected from you will only be stored for a limited duration that is relevant to the purpose for which it was processed and for as long as required by applicable law.

Should you disagree with this Privacy Policy and would like to close your account in GetGo, please contact us to have it addressed. Once the account is closed, we shall securely dispose all Information about you. Some information may remain in backup copies and logs for up to ninety (90) days but shall not be used for any purpose other than legally required. Accounts which are inactive for more than one (1) year shall be deactivated, and four (4) years thereafter shall be closed.

We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time by posting a notice and a revised version of the Privacy Policy on our website, and by notifying you via electronic means. The revised Privacy Policy shall be effective thirty (30) days after it is posted on the website. It is your responsibility to be apprised of these changes in the Privacy Policy. If you disagree with the changes, you may request to close your account by contacting us.
